I just wanted to share this with you, firstly because it’s a proper tune (I rocked this daily as a 9-year-old) and secondly because the late Jermaine Stewart illustrates perfectly the dangers of too much hair straightening.

The sun is out: Hoorah! Feeling pasty? I just got the Bronze Goddess compact bronzer from Estee Lauder. It’s matte and a really good, natural tone - the perfect product to breathe some life into you after this long, cold winter. Normally I would say chuck the free brush that comes with a compact, but hang on to this one, it’s really good; real bristles, full and good application - the best I’ve seen in a compact.
One of our clients has come up with the novel and quite brilliant idea of opening a restaurant in her house! The Nomad Chef Secret Restaurant is located in the heart of Holland Park and plays host to “an ever-changing group of adventurous, eclectic food lovers who meet to eat food from all over the world whilst sharing stories and artefacts of their lives, in the true Nomad tradition.” Some of us at the studio have been to the restaurant and it really does offer great food in a lovely setting. Michael would happily eat there daily if his schedule permitted.
The Nomad Chef describes the cuisine as “blending the dark and mysterious flavours of Indian cuisine, the crisp and distinct notes of Thailand and the earthiness of Mexican flavours to create delicious complexity that represents our nomadic footprint.”
Because she loves us so much, the Nomad Chef is offering the first 5 Unruly clients to reserve a place a £5 per person saving on the next secret supper on the 17th of March - Simple Pleasures, Simply Sensuous Food. Click here for bookings: http://www.eventbrite.com/event/598346671

Make-up is taking a break from the gothy, 80’s vamp look. The colours that dominated the catwalks at fashion week were block pastels and brights for the eyes. This is such an easy, fresh look to recreate; just wash colour all over lid - no blending required - (you can also put under the lower lashes) and apply lashings of mascara - simple!
Fair skins suit peachy/rose shades, medium skins suit lilacs and pinks and dark skins look great with greens and corals.
Top tip: don’t match pastel lips and eyes. It’s either or.
